One of the basic principles of the cold bending process of color steel tile equipment is: the strip is bent in a straight line along the longitudinal direction. However, the pressure generated during bending deformation is combined with the residual stress present in the strip, and often the strip deviates from the cold bending equipment. Describing the degree of deviation of the strip from the latter forming roller, commonly used words are: side bend – horizontal bend, warping – vertical bend, twisting – spiral. In order to solve this problem, a straightening mechanism should be used at the end of the cold forming machine. The basic principle of the straightening mechanism, for profiles with defects such as side bending and warping, the pressure generated by the correction mechanism in the opposite direction is the best to cause deformation. If the amount of deformation in the opposite direction is suitable, the profile can be completely straightened after springback.
If the profile is twisted in a certain direction when the color steel tile press is formed, the straightening mechanism rotates the profile in the opposite direction, resulting in plastic deformation. If the rotation angle is suitable, the profile will no longer twist after springback.
